This year will bring significant milestones for Stakeholder Democracy     Network. In 2024, we will celebrate our twentieth anniversary in the Niger Delta giving us the opportunity to reflect back on the changes the region has witnessed over that time and take stock of our own contributions to its development. At the same time, we are looking forward to the future and are embarking on a new chapter in our history with the launch of our 5-year strategic plan. We hope this plan will position SDN to succeed over the decades to come so that we can continue to catalyse positive change in the region and champion the principles of dialogue, inclusivity,  and community empowerment.

Our mission is to support the efforts of those affected by the extractive industries and weak
governance. We stand alongside citizens, providing expert and innovative solutions to drive sustainable and inclusive development.
