"In Nigeria, SDN is run by people like myself, who have grown up dreaming of a different Niger Delta.

The world owes it to the people of the Niger Delta to clean up the mess that decades of oil and poor government have created, and to assist local people in building a prosperous, happy future.

The world needs Nigeria and the whole Gulf of Guinea to be a success. SDN is here to help make sure that happens."

"It's heart breaking to see the reality of pollution and poverty up close. It's something that people who depend on oil from this part of Africa don't get to see, but they need to understand it.

The oil won't last forever, but the land and people will.

Only locally-led solutions to the problems can create stable oil supplies for the next few decades and - more importantly - a stable future for the peoples of the Niger Delta."
